ImageRight Printer 8.0

ImageRight Printer is a virtual printer for Windows that lets users “print” documents directly into an ImageRight document management repository instead of to paper. From any application with a Print dialog, users choose ImageRight Printer, enter indexing details, and the file is converted and filed in the correct drawer, folder, or workflow.

Key capabilities:

• Direct capture from any app via the Print dialog
• Conversion to repository-supported formats (for example, PDF or TIFF)
• Prompts for metadata to ensure consistent indexing and search
• Routing to predefined drawers, folders, or workflow queues
• Optional batch submission and document separation using barcodes or cover sheets (if configured)
• Security and auditing aligned with ImageRight permissions
• Centralized administration for defaults, templates, and deployment

Benefits:

• Eliminates print-and-scan steps
• Speeds up filing and reduces errors
• Improves consistency and compliance across teams

Note: An active ImageRight environment is required. Features may vary based on version and organizational configuration.
